Help Stop The Right
All elections matter. Too often, the Tories or Reform win because people like us don't show up.

VOTING TOGETHER GIVES US MORE POLITICAL POWER
Millions of people could vote tactically at this year's elections. A big proportion of voters showing up mainly to prevent the right from seizing power. Register as a tactical voter by joining the Movement Forward and we can prove it. Then together we'll tell the new government how they truly can earn our votes next time.
Tactical Advice Explainer
(Ashdown & Conquest division)
You can vote for 1 candidate here
We've manually set advice for this division. Having considered the candidates who are running this time, this advice is not primarily based on the election result the last time this ward was fought on these boundaries in the 2021 County Elections when the Tories easily held the seat from Labour, or the 2024 local election results for Hasting Council wards (Ashdown and Conquest) which make up the division where the Tories held them both over Labour. Labour could not win this division or its constituent wards when Labour was riding high in the way to winning the Parliamentary seat here and the best placed progressive party – based on the evidence of the intensity of this campaign – is the Greens who have a big activist base in Hastings.

How we produce accurate and up to date advice
Rather than just rely on the 2021 (or subsequent by-election) election result, we have analysed the most recent district elections from 2022, 2023 or 2024, in the wards underlying the County division in order to identify the current strength of the parties in this division and how much campaigning has been done since 2021. This underpins our advice.
